Palace were already boosted by the return of Eberechi Eze to the field this week, and he was joined by a number of Under-23s and Under-18s players, in the absence of Palace’s international Eagles.
Shaun Derry was reunited with a number of his charges from last season’s successful promotion winning season, including Malachi Boateng, Jay Rich-Baguelou and David Omilabu, while defender Joe Sheridan was among the Under-18s to make the step up.
