Palace must win to guarantee progression in their final Premier League International Cup group-stage game, with Sporting Braga the opposition on Wednesday, 8th February (KO: 19:00 GMT)
McCarthy’s side are currently in third place in Group C, three points behind leaders Everton and one behind Liverpool - but with Dinamo Zagreb hot on their heels.
A draw would leave the Eagles dependent on results elsewhere, and defeat would see them eliminated. Finishing in the top two spots - or being one of the two best third-placed sides - will see the Eagles qualify for the knock-out stage of the tournament.
They began life in the competition by recording a resounding 7-3 victory over Paris Saint-Germain and a 1-0 win over Hertha Berlin in September, but lost out 2-1 to Dinamo Zagreb on Saturday.
Tickets are available for the game from just £2, and U13s go free! More information is available below.
