How can I follow the Final?

Tickets for the 22/23 Continental Tyres League Cup Final are officially sold-out.

Nevertheless, supporters who cannot attend will be able to watch the match live on BBC One in the UK. Coverage begins at 14:25 GMT, ahead of the 15:00 kick-off.

The game will also be available for the rest of the world to watch live via The FA Player.

Please note that, due to planned engineering work on the London Overground network, there will be no services running to / from Norwood Junction station. Extra services are serving Selhurst station today for the match, which won't stop at Thornton Heath.

There are also direct services to / from Clapham Junction running from East Croydon station. Spectators are also encouraged to consider interchange at East Croydon for fast rail connectivity.

What form are both sides in?

For Emma Hayes' Chelsea Women, Sunday's game marks the first of four opportunities to claim a trophy this season, with the Blues still in contention for the Women's Super League, Champions League and FA Cup as well.

The Blues have won their last five games in all competitions, including a 2-0 win over Arsenal in the FA Cup fifth round last weekend, and are unbeaten since the opening day of the season in August.

Chelsea have previously won the competition on two occasions, last triumphing in 21/22 with a 6-0 win over Bristol City in the Final at Vicarage Road.

Arsenal, meanwhile, are bidding to end a four-year wait for a trophy with victory at Selhurst Park, their last silverware being the 18/19 league title.

The Gunners last won this competition back in the 17/18 season, when a goal from Vivianne Miedema saw off Manchester City 1-0 at Adams Park. They have since lost two further Finals in this competition.

The north London outfit go into today's Final having lost their last two games - albeit against Chelsea and Manchester City - but also having not beaten the Blues competitively since September 2021.

Has Selhurst Park hosted Women's football previously?

Selhurst is no stranger to hosting top-level women’s football, with the Vitality Women’s FA Cup final held there on three occasions between 2001 and 2003, and Palace having played there twice this season – setting a new record attendance both times.

This year’s Women’s League Cup Final has broken the record attendance for such an occasion, following last year's previous record of 8,000 at AFC Wimbledon in 2021/22, when Manchester City overcame Chelsea 3-1.
