The Under 18s continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 0-0 draw against Bolton, though the Eagles will feel frustrated to have not come away with the win.
The Palace youngsters created plenty of chances with Joseph Hungbo and Francis Baptiste leading the attack but were unable to find a way past the Bolton keeper.
Jude Russell had the best of the chances, coming close to breaking the deadlock with two close-range headed chances. At the other end, goalkeeper Matt Funnell saved well from a 10-man scramble in the Palace goalmouth in the first half.
The second half saw more frustration for the Eagles with Funnell barely tested and Palace creating chances but as in the first period not being able to break down the resolute Bolton defence.
Despite the result, it does leave the Eagles undefeated in the opening four games, sitting fourth in the U18 Professional Development League.
