The breakthrough came after 21 minutes when Pierrick Keutcha took aim from range and fired the ball home in spectacular style to score his second goal of the season, however that would be as good as things got for Paddy McCarthy’s side despite leading at the break.
Wanderers came out recharged in the second half and five minutes in Eddie Brown grabbed an equaliser before Ronan Darcy netted a superb solo goal on 75 minutes when he managed to chip Rohan Luthra to put the hosts ahead.
Palace pressed for a leveller late on, but Bolton pounced on the counter to seal the victory when substitute Demarlio Sterling scored Wanderers’ third.
