The 32-year-old was a safe pair of hands throughout the 90 minutes, however, two saves in the first-half stand out, with the Spaniard twice tested by Huddersfield's Chris Löwe in quick succession - the second save in particular was impressive given the speed of Guaita to get down to his left and prevent the goal.
His heroics earned him the Man of the Match award with 31% of votes from Palace fans, beating Aaron Wan-Bissaka to first place.
The clean sheet against Jan Siewert's side was Palace's 10th in the Premier League this season, and Guaita's fifth.
