Crystal Palace Under-18s defender Charlie Walker-Smith has signed his first professional contract with the club.
The 17-year-old centre-back has been at the club since at the age of 13, consistently progressing up the ranks and playing above his age group.
He featured nine times for the Under-18s in the previous campaign, before earning his scholarship in July 2024.
In 2024/25 so far, Walker-Smith has featured in all-but-one of the fixtures for Rob Quinn’s U18 side, keeping two clean sheets and even scoring against Liverpool.
Upon putting pen to paper, Walker-Smith said: “I’m excited [to have signed my professional contract.] I found out the news at home when I was with my mum.
“I think my family were more excited than me! So I think it’s a proud day for me and my family”
