Killian Phillips has been on loan at St Mirren this season, starting in 33 consecutive Scottish Premiership games and helping the side to finish in the top half of the division before the split.
He has represented The Republic of Ireland at multiple levels of youth football, most recently for the Under-21s in their 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifiers, but now he will be a part of Heimir Hallgrímsson’s side as they prepare for friendlies against Senegal and Luxembourg in June.
Meanwhile, Dylan Reid will be a part of Scot Gemmill’s side as they travel to face Slovakia in a friendly at the NTC Senec (Slovakia’s National Training Centre) on Friday, 23rd May (15:00 BST).
The 20-year-old has made 15 appearances for the Under-21s so far, scoring twice, in a season that has been broken up by injury.
The midfielder scored his first-ever goal for the club in February 2025 against Aston Villa and followed it up a month later with a 92nd minute winner in a 3-2 comeback against Manchester City. He also has four assists to his name.
Dean Benamar has earned a place in the England Under-17s squad for the 2025 UEFA U17 European Championship. He was previously a part of the U17s squad in their qualifiers for this tournament, keeping a clean sheet in a 5-0 win against Northern Ireland.
The left-back has made 20 appearances for the Under-18s this season, scoring once and registering four assists. He also made his U21s debut and trained with the first-team in 24/25.
While he is on England duty, he will face Belgium, Italy and Czechia in the initial group stage, before a potential semi-final and final on the cards if they top the group.
